Kris Temple is the Stadium Announcer for Wembley Stadium in London, covering all England Men’s internationals, as well as the Emirates FA Cup Final, the semi-finals, and the EFL League Cup Final, and Play-Off Finals.
He was also appointed by UEFA as the Stadium Announcer for the 2024 UEFA Champions League Final between Real Madrid & Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
Kris was the Stadium Announcer for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Athletics at Stade de France, and Wheelchair Rugby at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
In 2023, Kris was Stadium Announcer for the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
He was also a Stadium Announcer & In-vision Presenter for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, covering a total of 17 matches in the tournament.
Kris was the Stadium Announcer & In-vision Presenter for the UEFA Euro 2020 Final between Italy & England in London, as well as the Semi-Finals, and all matches at Wembley Stadium.
Kris is a Stadium Presenter & Announcer for the England & Wales Cricket Board, covering England Men’s & Women’s internationals, as well as The Hundred, and Vitality Blast Finals Day at Edgbaston.
Other recent assignments include as English Announcer at the 2022 World Indoor Athletics Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, and Finalissima 2022 between Italy and Argentina at Wembley.
Kris was a stadium announcer at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England & Wales, announcer & commentator for the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Qatar, announcer at the European Rugby Champions Cup Final.
Kris was a stadium announcer for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, including the quarter-final between Brazil & Belgium. Also in 2018, Kris performed the English Announcer role at the 2018 World Indoor Athletics Championships.
Other assignments include stadium announcing at the 2017 World Athletics Championships in London, and the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup.
Kris also announced at the 2016 Olympic Rugby Sevens in Rio, and the Paralympics Athletics, also in Brazil. He stadium-hosted at Euro 2016 (European Football Championships), working in stadia of over 50,000.
Kris announces, hosts and present a variety of in-stadium matches & events, awards ceremonies & conferences, and is equally comfortable in-vision, as a "voice of God", and working on or off-script. He works in high-pressured live environments, and has extensive experience operating in multi-language presentation.
His portfolio also includes stadium announcing at the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England at venues of over 50,000, at matches involving the likes of New Zealand & South Africa.
Kris has 22 years' service working for the BBC, broadcasting live across TV and national radio. Through this, he has extensive experience of location presentation, radio commentary, and studio presentation.
Kris is also a professional voice artist, with a portfolio including a wide-range of corporate, commercial and narrative assignments, for clients including Guinness, De Longhi, Hermes, Adecco, FIFA and Sky Sports.
He hosted the Stadium Business Awards at FC Barcelona's Camp Nou Stadium, and at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu.
He is a regular announcer & event presenter at mass participation sporting events, such as The Great Run Series, and the London Marathon.
